Beat Down Boogie Releases New Mario Warfare Trailer

The group Beat Down Boogie, a web-based film group who are well known for their Modern War Gear Solid web series, are working on something new and exciting. They have a new web series up their sleeves, this time starring a certain Italian plumber who likes to wear red.

Beat Down Boogie released a teaser over a year ago for the potential of a Mario Warfare web series. Since then, we received two behind-the-scenes videos last summer and then a third one earlier this April. The videos show sneak peaks of the costumes and prop guns, fight training, and a silly look at the characters.

So with the release of this new trailer, after a year of waiting, we can only assume that Mario Warfare is close to finally premiering online. We get a little bit more information about what the series will be about from the trailer (though I think it was fair to say we already could deduce that Bowser was up to no good), and get a look at some of the awesome fight scenes that will occur. Not to mention a first look at characters who will be making appearances, like Wario and Waluigi.

The trailer does specifically say, “coming soon, and this time, we mean it…” though it does also go on to state, “But we don’t have a release date yet… So don’t ask.” I guess we’ll just have to wait with baited breath until the series finally is released.
