An arrest warrant for the Babyshambles singer was withdrawn just hours it was issued.

Pete attacked Catherine Mead, a female press photographer last summer and was charged with criminal damage her camera lens. He was supposed to appear in court in Somerset on Thursday to enter a plea. But for the second time, he failed to turn up. Magistrates in Somerset then issued a warrant for his arrest without bail.

However, Pete’s lawyer somehow managed to get the warrant for his arrest withdrawn just a few hours later. His rep says: “The matter has been resolved and the warrant has been withdrawn.”

The law is being to easy on these train wrecks.
