Lindsay Lohan is being sued by three guys who claim she commandeered a car to chase down her assistant last year.

Dante Nigre, Ronnie Blake and Jakon Sutter claim they were scared for their lives, when Lindsay jumped into the car gave and chase to her assistant, Taryn Graham, in July 2007.

They seek around $50,000 for assault and battery, false imprisonment, negligence and slander.

The suit says: ‘Each of them felt surprise, shock, fear and panic and Lohan’s surprising and sudden act of taking Nigre’s vehicle to begin to chase after Taryn. As it became clear what Lohan intended, the startled and fearful passengers cried for their lives.’

Blake leaped out of the car and Lohan allegedly accelerated and ran over his foot, ‘causing extreme pain and physical injury.’ The suit alleges Lohan refused to listen to Nigre’s and Sutter’s pleas to stop, responding ‘with hostile wrath’ and threatening to sue when Nigre tried to grab the steering wheel.’

Lindsay served 84 minutes in jail for DUI and went straight into rehab after.

Lohan’s lawyer, Ed McPherson, said the lawsuit was ‘absurd’.

He said: ‘If this was truly the “worst night” of their summer and not their best night, one has to wonder why they didn’t just get out of the car during the many opportunities they had to do so. These guys had the time of their lives, playing with the radio and leaving the vehicle at one point and getting back in.’

Why sue now? Oddly timed lawsuit for an incident that happened over a year ago though.
