James Doohan, who played chief engineer Montgomery “Scotty” Scott on Star Trek, is finally getting to see space. His ashes have been loaded into a rocket set to launch in New Mexico later this month. Doohan’s ashes will join the remains of series creator Gene Roddenberry, whose ashes went sent skyward in 1997.
