The official premiere of Spider-Man 3 was held this week in Tokyo. In attendance were the film’s stars, Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, as well as director Sam Raimi. During the event, Maguire made some brief comments about the possibility of a fourth film. “If we do a fourth movie, we might need Spider-Man to come to Tokyo,” he said. The movie will officially open in Japan on May 1, three days ahead of its US and UK releases.
