A railroad accident has blocked 3.5 thousand people on trains of the Russian Trans Siberian Railway. Ironically, Sunday is the professional holiday of Russian railway workers.
The accident occurred in the Far Eastern Maritime Territory at 4:47 local time, when 32 empty oil tank wagons derailed at full speed, destroying 50 meters of rails, Gazeta.ru reports.
The traffic was paralyzed both ways. Seven passenger and 15 cargo trains are standing idle near the site of the accident with some 3,500 people stranded in them, reports said.

Boy, sucks for them.
