Bestweekever.tv has a hilarious vision of how the idea of National Treasure 2 was though up in their recent trailer mix. It starts off with a catchy quip about the Big Production Company’s brainstorming sessions:

So let’s say you’re in a Hollywood pitch meeting, and the Big Studio Boss is losing patience about the fact that the entire room is literally out of ideas, forcing him to confront the very real possibility that there just might not be any more movies - or money - left to make. The tension is thick, and the twenty or so “creative types” gathered at this sad excuse for a brainstorming session are already beginning to contemplate new career paths now that their ever-evaporating puddle of originality appears to have finally run dry.

You know, I don’t really agree with this much. I actually liked the first National Treasure and honestly maybe they shouldn’t try to milk it but I guess this movie could be half as good as the first or completely flop. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
