This hand-written list was penned by iconic Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain and cites the band’s top 50 favorite albums. It was published in Journals in 2003, a book that was a compendium of Cobain’s many journals, diaries, notebooks and an insight into the mind of the revered and deeply troubled singer.
Fans of Nirvana’s music will recognize quite a few band names on there, including artists that Nirvana covered on their critically acclaimed ‘Unplugged In New York’ Album; there is Leadbelly (Where Did You Sleep Last Night) The Vaselines (Jesus Don’t Want Me For A Sunbeam) and David Bowie (The Man Who Sold The World).
