Last year in November, the ‘See A Little Light’ concert took place at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. It was a celebration and commemoration of the music and legacy of legendary rock guitarist Bob Mould.
Numerous famous musicians and bands were involved in this tribute, providing their own interpretations of his words and melodies, including iconic Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl, Britt Daniel, Ryan Adams, Jessica Dobson, Margaret Cho, Grant Lee Phillips, Craig Finn and Tad Kubler to name but a few.
Unless you were lucky enough to be one of the 2,265 people in the audience, then you wouldn’t have witnessed this awesome celebratory concert. However, fans of Mould’s work could still have the chance as the entire event was recorded by talented director and cinematographer Justin Mitchell and Mould has started a Kickstarter project to get the funds together to release the concert on DVD. The funds will be used to pay for costs like editing, production, packaging and distribution and there is memorabilia like T-shirts and CDs available as a sweetener for contributors!

If the project reaches the target figure of $95,000, then “SEE A LITTLE LIGHT: A Celebration of the Music and Legacy of Bob Mould” should be available to purchase by January of 2013. So far, the project has raised nearly $65,000 of the $95,000 target, with 22 days to run!
