Kew Gardens Study Warns That Climate Change Could Eradicate Coffee By 2080

A new study from Kew Gardens has come up with some absolutely terrifying news for coffee addicts, according to their projections climate change could end up making our beloved beverage extinct.

There are thousands of reasons why we need to do more to stop climate change – and this is another one to add to the list!!

Their study found that rising tides and temperatures could make a staggering 99.7% of the areas where the Arabica bean is grown unable to support the crop! This effect would not be immediate of course, they don’t expect this to happen until the year 2080 – by which point most of us probably won’t be around!!

That does not mean however that we should rest on our laurels, we need to act now and stop climate change to ensure that our children and our children’s children are not deprived of coffee!!
