The guy featured in this YouTube video got a ticket that he wasn’t too happy about. Some reports say it was for running a red light, but a popup on the YouTube clip says otherwise. Honestly, I wish I could tell you what really happened, but I just don’t know…What I do know, is that he had to pay a $137 fine which he really rather resented.
So as a means of showing this resentment to the authorities, he took his payment to the desk at the municipal court in a donut box, but that’s not all, he took the time out of his day to fold every single dollar bill up into an origami pig.
Now, the jury is out over whether this stunt is a win or a fail…I’m still not sure, I’ve got to admit that I saw the funny side of it, as did the guy behind the desk and the security guard. Fair play to them for showing the world that contrary to popular belief, they do have a sense of humor!!
It does seem like the authorities did get the last laugh out of this poor chappy though, apparently he lost count of how long it took him to painstakingly fold each dollar bill into a little piggy after the clock passed 4 hours and to add insult to injury – he was made to unfold every single dollar bill before they would accept the payment.
He did leave one little piggy there to represent though, “Admiral Akbacon” who sat astride his former pig army, as “the sole survivor of the great dollar pig massacre of 2012.”
