‘Till Death Do US Part’: Awesomely Gothic White Chocolate Skull Wedding Cake

Check out this gothic masterpiece wedding cake created by food artist Anna de Vetten aka Conjurer’s Kitchen for the Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza that took place in Birmingham last weekend. Anna is no stranger to wonderfully gruesome edible creations, you may remember her stomach churning Anatomical Wax Model cakes and eerie Solid White Chocolate Baby Heads that we featured on the site previously.

Using the theme “Till Death Do Us Part” Anna made this fantastically macabre creation using white chocolate mudcake and it is adorned with solid white chocolate skulls.

The cake features beautifully hand crafted white chocolate skulls of 16 carrion crows, 12 domestic kittens, 4 barn owls and 3 Vervet monkeys, because there really is no better way to say I love you than with a couple of kitteh skulls!

It took Anna more than 100 hours to create this frightfully elegant and unusual wedding cake. The happy couple has a choice of toppers, they can opt for a conjoined kitten skull or choose to have dried flowers from a wedding bouquet adorn the top of the cake.
