Artists these days always seem to find new and innovative ways of using unusual materials to create fabulous artistic masterpieces…If you liked the pointillism vinyl portraits of Daniel Edlen and the head-casts made by British artist Marc Quinn using his own blood, then you will probably like these cardboard sculptures of historical figures and popular culture icons too!

Carefully crafted using cardboard, glue and screws, Scott Fife’s sculptures bare an uncanny resemblance to their subjects!

They just go to show what a useful material cardboard can be and they really remind me of being a kid and making all sorts of things with the cardboard boxes that toys or household appliances came in…I never made anything quite this good though!!
