Friends Post Video Of Buddy Watching Empire Strikes Back For The First Time

There are quite a few videos on the internet that showcase the brilliant reactions of younglings watching The Empire Strikes Back for the first time and discovering that the big bad Darth Vader is actually Luke’s father.

But it is incredibly rare to meet an adult (one that didn’t grow up under living under a rock or in a treehouse) who doesn’t know that integral bit of information. Even those who haven’t seen the film (yes, a few of them exist – I have even met one and call this strange creature my friend) will have seen clips, or internet memes or have just heard people doing awful James Earl Jones impressions announcing that they are Luke’s father.

So when Carlos’ mates realized that at the grand old age of 23, he still hadn’t seen the movie and had no idea about this startling information, they did the only thing that good friends could; film his reaction and put it on the internet for all to see!
