Advertising agency Euro RSCG Helsinki with Grillifilms, Sauna International & Studio Arkadena have created this incredibly powerful PSA advert entitled ‘Monsters’. The Finnish PSA ad was created for Fragile Childhood (Lasinen lapsuus) a campaign for children that began in 1986 and intended to help raise awareness and help children with alcoholic parents.
The advert certainly hits home, as we see the world through the eyes of these traumatized, terrified children, whose drunk parents take on the form of scary monsters, monsters that belong in the land of nightmares and horror movies not in the playground, the shopping mall or the family home!
Fragile Childhood put on a number of activities that encourage people to participate in anonymous discussions sharing their thoughts and ideas about responsible parental drinking.
