Ok, so they might have been around a few months but these ‘safe sex’ adverts are too novel not to share. In a bid to encourage young people to practice safe sex and prevent the spread of diseases, the Finnish Aids Council created these brilliant adverts.

One shows a picture of a scantily clad, attractive woman, but on her ‘point of entry’ sits the Facebook check-in icon, which tells you that ‘Matti Virtanen and 19 others were here’ before you! I wonder if poor old Matti is an actual guy and if he knows his name has been used for a safe sex ad!

The male version is much the same, except the hunk with the rippling torso muscles has outdone the woman when it comes to sexual partners. His popular crotch has had 35 Check-ins!!

Pretty innovative I reckon, they certainly make you think…

I wonder if Facebook are thinking about introducing this ‘I’ve been there’ type of ‘Check-in’ for the platform…Could have highly amusing/devastating consequences if they did, me thinks!
