Leona Lewis’s new Single, a cover of Snow Patrol’s Run is the fastest selling digital only track in the UK. In just two days it has been downloaded almost 70,000 times.

The song was originally never set to be released but due to overwhelming demand it was added to Leona’s Deluxe edition album Spirit. Leona first sang Run in Jo Wiley’s Live Lounge on Radio One. After millions and millions of hits of the recording on You Tube the record company very sensibly decided to release the track.

It looks set to become Leona’s third UK number one.

With this and Leona’s three Grammy nominations its looks to be a good Christmas in the Lewis household.
