Amy Winehouse rushed to hospital
Amy Winehouse has been rushed to a hospital in London on Monday evening.
Paramedics were called to Wino’s house in Camden at around 20:40 and they wheeled her to an ambulance waiting outside. She was then taken to the accident and emergency at nearby University College Hospital escorted by police.
Amy’s papa Mitch raised the alarm after she reportedly suffered an episode of ‘convulsions’. It is not yet known what caused the fits.
Winehouse’s rep Chris Goodman said he was aware that paramedics had been called, but did not know what was wrong with the junkie singer.
A spokeswoman for London Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at approximately 8.40pm to an address in NW1 to reports of an adult female taken unwell. We sent an ambulance and a fast response car and the patient has been taken to hospital.”
We will keep you inform, once we have more details.
