Can you imagine trying to shimmy down the catwalk in these?
Tire giants Goodyear-Dunlop recently asked Munich-based photography studio Mierswa-Kluska to create a series of photographs that underscored integral elements of the company’s product line; that is strength, robustness and armor.
So under the art direction of the multitalented Carl Elkins, they came up with the idea of ‘treadwear’ – a fashionable armor and this series of photographs were featured in Goodyear-Dunlop’s corporate magazine ‘Rubber Soul’
Though Elkin’s designs might be rather bulky to wear down the pub or to your weekly Salsa-dancing class – you’ve got to admit they are pretty awesome to look at!!
