Jamie Foxx Plays the Race Card (Poorly)
Jamie Foxx rushed to the defense of Michael Vick, ex-NFL star and future cellblock bitch, stating,
It’s a cultural thing, I think. Most brothers didn’t know that, you know. I used to see dogs fighting in the neighborhood all the time. I didn’t know that was Fed time. So, Mike probably just didn’t read his handbook on what not to do as a black star.
Ya know, even if I bought that load of crap, Jamie, I still wouldn’t buy that Vick didn’t know that running an operation where people bet on dogs fighting to the death was wrong. It’s not about being a black star. It’s about being a human being — a human being who, if there is any justice in the world, will soon know what it feels like to be one of R. Kelly’s girlfriends.
I knew there was a reason I never got around to seeing Ray.

Oh, Jaime–Don’t blame the dogs for your sagging career.
One of the things that bothers me most about the Michael Vick case is how certain people want to use the race card, even when the crime is as heinous a one as this one. The other thing that bothers me is that people are starting to make more of an issue of his involvement in gambling on these heinous acts instead of on the cruelty of them.
Jamie’s right though - Vick didn’t know it was illegal, it’s just pure coincidence that the fights were held late at night in intentionally concealed buildings on his rural property.
Idiot.
Oh please. . .can anyone really be stupid enough to say that this is cultural thing? Is there anyone out there stupid enough to believe that?
He was really funny on in living color though.
Jamie, is it a cultural thing that you’d even release a statement that is so naive?
lol this guy is really funny … he rocks
I Wouldn’t Say Stupid. You Have To Consider It Though.
In Some Places, A Lot Of Things We Don’t Find Humane Is Often Accepted. While This Is Not The Case Here, Sometimes It Is. I’m African American(as well as Cherokee) and my dad is 40. When he was a boy he lived in the country where there were dog fights (non-organized of course), and didn’t find out it was wrong until late on in his life. Don’t Get Me Wrong, I Am Disgusted About This Cruelty To Animals, But It Isn’t Out There For Forms Of This To Be A Part Of Life.
