Introducing DAIN: Street Collage Artist From A Bygone Era

Dain 565x406 Introducing DAIN: Street Collage Artist From A Bygone Era

I’ve always been a fan of street art, I think it is something that is organic to each community it represents and it is a great form of expression. I recently stumbled across these intriguing videos about street collage artist Dain made by the Brooklynite Gallery, that give a fascinating insight into the man who is one of the most old school street artists around!

Dain’s career as a street artist has spanned decades and he is quite well known for it, especially in the Brooklyn area. It is really interesting to hear this elderly frail man, elaborate on why he does what he does and what inspires his art.

Another thing that is amazing about Dain, is that he is still at it, in the video you can clearly see that creating collages is a necessity in his life, it is the reason he gets up each day and never seems to lose the motivation or inspiration to keep at it.
