Artist Leon Keer was invited by the owner of Gallery Wilms in Venlo, Netherlands to make a 3D painting for the Ouverture, a large event that opens the cultural season in the area. A 3D street painting of Pac-Man was what Keer came up with.
“It took me three days to finish,” said Keer. “There was alternating rain and sun which is always difficult with these kind of paintings, but I am used to that in Holland.
“This piece is about ‘fun.’ It’s a recognizable theme that awakens people’s memories.”
