Budding bakers who haven’t quite been able to let go of the love they had for Pokemon as younglings might be interested in this Instructables from h0n3y5un5h1n3. I’ve only recently seen the rather rubbish movie Contagion, so at first her name looked a little some fucked up mutant strain of the swine flu virus H1N1 to me. But on closer inspection it appears to read honeysunshine, a much more appropriate name for some who shares baking recipes!
Anyways, back to the topic in hand, h0n3y5un5h1n3 was an ardent Pokemon fan and despite being a fully fledged grown up, the first thing she thought of when she got an “awesome half-sphere silicone mold for Christmas” was creating some Pokeball mini-cakes.
As any Pokemon fans will quickly tell you, the inside of the Pokeball is just as important (if not more) than the outside. So h0n3y5un5h1n3 color coordinated the inner layers of the cake to match the colors on the outside!
