Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney married his chav sweetheart Coleen McLoughlin today in a lavish ceremony on the Italian Riviera.
The chav couple exchanged vows in a 20 minute ceremony.
Coleen wore a white, strapless ankle-length prom dress with white stilettos for the ceremony, then changed into a £100,000 Marchesa dress for the blessing and wedding breakfast.
Rooney dressed in a nut brown suit, a brown shirt, a Prada belt, but no tie.
The town’s deputy mayor, Gianni Costa, who performed the ceremony in Italian and Liverpudlian priest Father Edward Quinn - who was flown over especially for the wedding translated into English in front of just eight members of family and close friends.
The couple didn’t exchange rings. They were saving that for a religious ceremony.
The wedding was rumored to have cost £5m.
William Hill is offering odds of 5/1 that the marriage will last five years or less.
