Adrianne Curry controversial blog post bashing Ike’s victims
Adrianne Curry made a rather stupid blog post today. She’d rather see hurricane Ike victims in Texas die, rather than having her tax dollars be spent to rescue them.
She writes:

Hurricane Victims pay for their own rescues?
Current mood: aggravatedI am sorry, but I believe all these people should have to pay the bill for their individual rescues! When they issue a “certain death” warning and you are f*cking dumb enough to stay, you do not deserve free aid. I watched people being interviewed on the news claiming they bought a bunch of beer and BBQ to sit through the storm. I bet these same people are crying for help as I type. This is f*cking stupid! Why should we have to foot a dime for these dumba$$es that ignored these warnings?
FREE transportaion was provided, many buses left half empty. FREE shelters were provided, many not filled up. People value MONEY and POSESSIONS more than their own lives? IDIOTS!
I feel like we reward stupidity in this country, and this is the perfect example of it. What do you guys think?
edited note:: I never said they should DIE, I said if they value their MONEY and POSSESSIONS more thn their own LIVES they should have to pay for endangering the lives of rescue workers, and sucking up more money this government DOESN’T have. someone claimed they didnt want to lose their job…I wasn’t aware the bank was open that day!
Your thoughts????

My thoughts on what Adrianne Curry has posted have spurred from the fact that everything she said made me entirely infuriated. How could someone be so incredibly inhumane? where is her humility. Choices people make in their past should not determine their fate if others can help them. If someone gets on a bus that has a bomb on it, we shouldn’t send them help as they shouldn’t have caught the bus, knowing there was a tiny chance of a bomb or terrorist attack awaiting them? thats the stupidest excuse i have ever heard to avoid paying taxes. In a world full of corruption and anger, why would you want to contribute to the problems that already boil furiously in the depths of society? The fact that she is too selfish to offer a small amount of money to those who need it, despite what choices they made and what circumstances they were in, rips holes in the basis of the integrity of man kind. People should help each other. Even if sometimes, giving a helping hand doesn’t always make you feel amazing or put a smile on your face, depending on of course what you do - say sacrifice a few dollars? - you should never be reluctant to help. You wont always smile, but you help the world, whether you realize it or not.
In conclusion, Curry does not know the conditions of every single person that was affected by the hurricane, and so she cannot possibly call judgement that would determine whether or not they survive. “People value MONEY and POSESSIONS more than their own lives? IDIOTS!” even with this statement, her hypocrisy is immediate, because her single point is that she wont give up her MONEY or POSSESSIONS to save the lives of others. clearly, if she was given a “certain death” warning, she would stay with her precious tax dollars and when all went wrong, would call on the more fortunate for help. She better hope when she’s caught in a weather crisis, that the few dollars she needs to escape her own death aren’t kept by ‘donaties’ on the basis of ’stupidity of the needy’.
