R.I.P Estelle Getty

My fav Golden Girl Estelle Getty has passed away at the age of of 84, just three days shy of her 85th birthday. She passed away at 5:35 AM this morning at her L.A. home surrounded by her family and caregivers. Although this was very sad news, I think this is for the best, as Getty had been suffering with Lewy Body Dementia for years. I know she is in a better place.
Estelle is best known for playing her wise-cracking Sicilian mother Sophia Petrillo on “The Golden Girls.”
