Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan, 44, and crooner Michael Bolton, 55, have split after a two year engagement.

Sheridan’s rep Nicole Perna issued a statement: ‘Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement. They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter.’

The couple dated for five years in the mid 90s, before splitting in 1997. They got back together in 2005 and got engaged in 2006.

Nicollette can do much better anyway, so this set back is not going to bother her for long.
