Khalid hopes to provide a “little happiness to all” and so he has fitted disco lights in the back of his car, installed a super-sound system that passengers can plug their own devices into to control the music and HE GIVES OUT FREE CANDY & CHOCOLATES.

The gigantic, jetsetting art installation, Rubber Duck that was supposed to float happily about on the water of Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor until the 9th June making people laugh and smile has hit a bit of snag and ended up deflated and looking like a flat, squished, yellow mess!

The 16.5 meter, oversized bathtoy was created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman. It debuted in Hong Kong at the beginning of May to a great reception. But it wasn’t plane sailing for the popular rubber ducky as on Wednesday as it mysteriously ended up deflated. An emergency rubber duck crisis meeting was held and they did not immediately respond to the public’s questions about whether the deflation was a planned one or not. Continue Reading

Saudi Arabian student, Talal Al-Rouqi who is studying in Michigan has claimed that he was questioned by the FBI after his neighbors reported seeing him walking around with a pressure cooker similar to those which were used in the recent Boston Marathon bombing.

Al-Rouqi said he was talking a rice and meat dish to a friend’s apartment for dinner and the day after he said that FBI officials interrogated him. Al-Rouqi shared his intriguing story with the Saudi Gazette, where he is quoted as saying, “When they found nothing unusual, they cautioned me not to venture out again with the pressure cooker.”Continue Reading

Redditors Help Restore An Old Photograph For User’s 87-Year-Old Veteran Grandad!

When Steven Withey from witheytechnologies.co.uk was helping his granddad Derek sort out his computer, they discovered an old photograph of the 87-year-old from his days in the Royal Navy submarines during World War II. The crumpled photograph had been emailed from a relative and wasn’t the best quality.

Being the IT go-to guy in the family, Steven, from the UK, forwarded the photograph to himself and set about trying to restore it to somewhere near its original quality. However, because he had no Photoshop or general editing experience, Steven had to seek help elsewhere and after posting the image on Reddit, he received an overwhelmingly positive response. The contest, which signifies the high point of spring, is held at the Sensoji Temple.

Kerrins, 38, said that her obsession began when she was just 10-years-old when her best friend gave her her first ever troll. Now her home is a homage to the wacky little creatures and she even has a “Troll Sanctuary” where she dresses up like them!
