Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz welcomed their first baby on Thursday.

Ashlee gave birth to a baby boy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

And, the couple named the baby Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

Pete also posted a blog post on Friday saying that he would have to cancel an interview with Larry King that was intended to take place on Saturday night due to breaking news and scheduling conflicts.

M.I.A tells Pitchfork Media, “I’m creating a baby. When I found out I was pregnant and ‘Paper Planes’ was in the iTunes top 10, it seemed like the whole world was reshuffled in one week, and all my plans went out the window. I’ve got two kids, that’s what it feels like. And that’s the lesson – you can’t make plans.”
