German auction house Breker has said that one of Apple’s very first computers, a functioning model from 1976 that has been dubbed an “Apple 1”, has been auctioned for a record 516,000 euros ($668,000).

Breker stated that the device was purchased on Saturday by an Asian client who requested that his name was not revealed to the media. The device, was built by infamous Apple founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in a family garage and Breker have said that it is one of only 6 known functioning models in the world. Continue Reading
