Beware The Polk County Peanut Butter Sandwich Attacker (he has a sword too)

Last Friday Polk County deputies arrested a Winter Haven man on charges of battery and aggravated assault after he allegedly attacked three women outside his home, threatening them with a 4-foot sword and a peanut butter sandwich!

This strange incident occurred when Mark Christopher Miller, 50, heard a disturbance outside his mobile home at 2500 U.S. 92 W. No. 18A and stepped outside to investigate armed with his lengthy 4 foot sword and his mighty sandwich. That’s got to be one of the strangest weapon combo’s I’ve heard about for a long while!!

There he noticed a couple of women, one who was 6-months pregnant and for some reason decided to poke his sword at her stomach. The pregnant woman managed to grab the blade to stop him from actually stabbing her. What a top-notch guy!

Miller then threatened to kill the woman and when a third woman stepped up to intervene, it was claimed that Miller smeared her chest with the peanut butter sandwich that he was carrying. A sticky situation indeed -beware the almighty wrath of my peanut butter sandwich!

At this point, deputies arrived on the scene, arrested Miller and drove him to the county jail. When they arrived at the jail, they noticed that Miller had torn a 4-inch piece of padding from the inside the patrol car off with his teeth. Maybe he was hungry because he didn’t actually get to eat the peanut butter sandwich he’d made for his tea!

Miller admitted that he was holding a sword during the incident, but claims that he never left the doorway of his mobile home.
