Not too long ago DC Entertainment and Kia Motors America announced that they would be working together to create a fleet of Justice League-inspired vehicles to benefit the charity “We Can Be Heroes” that fights to combat hunger in the Horn of Africa.
They said that each of the central Justice League characters would get their own vehicle – so you can expect to see Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg all matched up with their very own KMA vehicle.
The first of the heroes to get their modified vehicle was of course the caped crusader Batman, who is well-known for having a fleet of supercars at his disposal.
The Batman Kia Optima SXL was unveiled last week at the New York Comic Con and this awesome vehicle was heavily influenced by the artwork of renowned DC comic book artist Jim Lee. It is emblazed with the iconic Batman logo on either side and comes with a hand-crafted grill that took more than 40 hours to put together. The interior is stylishly smooth (befitting Bruce Wayne you might say) in sleek black leather and suede with yellow accents.
You can expect to see the other one-of-a-kind Justice League-inspired vehicles subsequently unveiled over the next 10 months at a number of different, high profile events. According to IGN.com some of the other unveilings will take place at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, The North American International Auto Show in Detroit and the San Diego Comic-Con.
