Bake Your Own Death Star

Last week we brought you the information you would need to build your very own ‘actual size’ Death Star from the Centives crew, this week we’ve got another Star Wars themed past-time for those die-hard fans who aren’t content sitting at home re-enacting an epic space battle with their plastic collectables.

This one won’t cost you quite as much, and probably isn’t as daunting a task, but it will require a great deal of patience and dedication!

Cake Central has released the complex stratagem needed to bake your own Death Star Mud Cake. But all young culinary Jedi’s should be warned baking your own Death Star cake is a perilous mission which should not be undertaken lightly. It is more than likely that at some point during the intricate operation you will have to ‘use the force’, if you want your cake to come out looking anything like the pictures on Cake Central’s website!

For me personally, I would much rather just stick the movies on and watch them again, or in fact re-enact the battle with my action figures than bake a cake. But then, I’m not really someone who is known for my interest (or skills) in cookery – the most used cooking utensil at our house it the telephone!
