You can always find some obscure and ultimately crazy shit floating around trying to find a crazy home on eBay, like this Mitsubishi Magna Executive 1998 4D Automatic which has been covered wholly in Astroturf. Ok, so it’s not as oddball as the mummified cat slam-dunking a mummified bird but it is certainly random enough.
The seller claims that this ‘Astroturf Car’ would be ‘awesome for any business or private use as it draws more attention than a Ferrari.’ The seller also thinks that driving the Astroturf Car won’t make you look like a douche as he believes driving a Ferrari would. Hmmm, I’m not sure I’m entirely convinced about that.
Bidding is currently at AU $625.00 and there are 5 days left on the auction. But be warned, any buyer will have to be ‘awesome’ enough not to care that the car doesn’t come with rego or safety certificate and by his own admission – it has a few leaks. The good news is however, is that the car comes with spare Astroturf! YAY!
