Artist Chris Gilmore’s Amazing Cardboard Cities

Check out these incredible cardboard creations made by artist Chris Gilmore using only corrugated cardboard boxes and glue!

Gilmore is renowned for his skill of turning cardboard into artistic masterpieces, but this latest project might just be his most impressive to date.

Created as part of an advertising campaign for the Bankers Box brand, Gilmore recreates some iconic cityscapes in spectacular detail. The time-lapse video shows his 40-foot wide replica of London complete with the infamous Big Ben, functional Tower Bridge and rotating London Eye. He has also created replicas of other famous cities including Paris and Berlin.

The project is entitled “You can build anything when you put your mind to it” and the English artist said that the biggest challenge was created the “iconic landmarks from each city.”

He said; “This is the largest project of its kind that I’ve undertaken. Thankfully the boxes were really easy to work with and build. The biggest challenge was placing the iconic sculptures in the correct place in each city to successfully convey the depth and size of the entire build.”
