The plot thickens in the Apple vs Samsung smartphone wars as Apple fanboys have taken matters into their own hands with an interesting marketing vigilantism maneuver!

You may have seen the Samsung advert(above) which lists the pros of the Galaxy S3 against those of the iPhone 5 under the tagline “It doesn’t take a genius” offering comparisons of the two phones obviously set up to paint the Galaxy S3 in a much more favorable light than the iPhone 5. It also takes a swipe at the iPhone 5’s new charger, (a sore point for many Apple product lovers) by stating that the S3 uses Micro USB charging, as opposed to a ‘totally different plug.’

Well this advert clearly got up the noses of the wrong Apple fanboys who wanted to show the world what they believe to be the universal truth about which phone is better. Taking this advert, they converted the tagline to read, “In high school, it doesn’t take a genius to know who is just a bully” they then go on to mock the S3’s allegedly better features in red ‘corrective’ ink. Underneath the list they cite the Samsung S3 as ‘our best copy ever’ and the company logo comes with the ‘copying the future’ jibe!

Just goes to show that you anyone who messes with the Apple fanboys does so at their own peril!!
