Cute is not usually a word you’d find yourself using in a description of the Empire’s ferocious AT-AT’s and TIE Fighters, but it is definitely fitting when it comes to these crocheted Amigurumi toys created by Etsy artist Ana of MysteriousCats.
They look much less terrifying and daunting than their namesakes in the cult Star Wars movies, but I suppose being made out of wool would have that effect!
They are on sale as patterns in the Etsy shop and cost just under $10, if however you don’t feel you are a crochet master and want one already preassembled then that will cost you a little more. A premade AT-AT will set you back about $33, but that’s a small price to pay because life is too short to crochet even if you aren’t a member of a Rebel Alliance!
Ana also has designs for the X-Wing fighter, Millennium Falcon and a Naboo Starfighter, so if you get the whole collection you can stage little woolen Amigurumi Star Wars battles in your living room without destroying the furniture!
