As part of Le Havre’s Contemporary Art Biennale, Claude Cormier + Associés Inc created this fabulous tribute to Claude Monet, founder and one of the most famous painters of the French Impressionist movement.

Monet was born in La Havre and the piece was designed for the City Hall’s grand pergola. Using 90,000 colored balls in five different shades, the installation was created to mimic the wisteria blooms that featured regularly in Monet’s many works.

The balls hang from the arches in a bright, vibrant and eye-catching display intended to delight visitors to the area.
