71-Year-Old Shoots Internet Café Armed Robbers

Check out the surveillance footage of 71-year-old Samuel Williams single-handedly stopping an armed robbery at an internet café in Marion, Florida last Friday.

Williams who is a licensed gun owner, was at the Palms Internet Café when two thugs walked in an attempted to rob the place. The two men who attempted the armed robbery were later identified as Duwayne Henderson, 19, and Davis Dawkins,19. Henderson came into the café and began waving the handgun at the customers, whilst Dawkins can be seen brandishing a bat at the expensive computer equipment!

Upon noticing the armed robbers Williams immediately springs to his feet and fires 2 shots at Henderson is startled and darts for the front door. Williams pursues the robbers and fires several more shots and the panic-stricken robbers trip over themselves as they try to escape the armed senior citizen! Clearly they weren’t expecting a 71-year-old with a gun when they planned out their little heist!

Both of the suspects received non-life threatening gunshot wounds and were later apprehended by the police. A representative from the State Attorney’s Office has said that Williams will not be facing any charges. His actions are likely to make him a poster-boy (or a poster-elderly-man) for those in the U.S who believe in “concealed carry” rights.
