Patrick Swayze has passed away on Monday in LA after a 20-month battle against pancreatic cancer.
He was only 57 year old.
The Dirty Dancing actor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2008.
“Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months,” said a statement released Monday evening by his publicist, Annett Wolf.
His long career included performances in such films as The Outsiders, Ghost, Dirty Dancing, Red Dawn, Point Break and Donnie Darko.

Too many people have died this year already.
