Paula Abdul took to her Twitter page to wish Ellen DeGeneres the best of luck as the new American Idol judge.
Abdul Tweeted:
“I think Ellen will b a gr8 judge on Idol. She is wildly funny, talented and I wish her the best of luck!”
At the same time, the former Idol judge also released the following statement: “AMERICAN IDOL is a fantastic show that offers an invaluable platform to young talent. Ellen DeGeneres is wildly funny and talented in her own right. I wish her and the show only the best of luck.”
Earlier today, DeGeneres told Ryan Seacrest she doesn’t want people to think she’s “evil” for taking Paula’s job and she hopes Paula is okay with it.
Well, Ellen has nothing to worry about now.

Ellen would be a great replacement for PA…the labels suing her is just another sign of the times…its so tough for labels to make money that they are suing everyone who uses music without paperwork…
