Michael Jackson’s death has been officially ruled as homicide by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

And the official caused of death was Acute Propofol intoxication.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter sent us this statement: “The drugs PROPOFOL and LORAZEPAM were found to be the primary drugs responsible for Mr. Jackson’s death. Other drugs detected were: Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaine and Ephedrine.”

Despite releasing the cause of death just a few minutes ago, the Coroner’s Office has opted not to release the full autopsy report at the request of the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County District Attorney.

At this time, no one has been formerly charged with any wrong doing in connection with The King of Pop’s death, but we should see some movements soon, now that the official Coroner’s report is released.

UPDATE:

The Jackson family just released a statement:

“The Jackson family again wishes to commend the actions of the Coroner, the LAPD and other law enforcement agencies, and looks forward to the day that justice can be served.”
