Trainwreck Kerry Katona was arrested by Chesire Police yesterday afternoon for allegedly assaulting her accountant David McHugh.
The former Atomic Kittens singer/reality TV star was taken into custody on suspicion of committing criminal damage, assault and a public order offence.
The incident allegedly happened at the accountant’s business premises at the Hawthorne Business Park, where Kerry allegedly threw office equipment around the office before punching David and throwing a cup of tea over him. She was also heard shouting ‘You’ve ruined my life’ and ‘You’re the fucking reason I’ve got no money! It’s not Mark, it’s you!’ at the accountant.
A source said: “She had been through her accounts and was raging. She went to his office to speak to him and was screaming and kicking off. She punched him in the face. She struck out at McHugh. It wasn’t pretty.”
David’s colleague is believed to have called the police.
I’ve just heard on the radio that Kerry was released this morning from Daresbury custody suite near Runcorn and granted police bail until 12 October at 9am pending further investigation.
Kinda sad this whole Kerry Katona thing.
In a way I hope she can pull through this, but at the end of the day, it was all her doings.
She only has herself to blame. Not the accountant.
