Musician and producer Jim Dickinson has died on Saturday morning in a Memphis, Tenn., hospital after three months of heart and intestinal bleeding problems.
He was 67.
The father of Luther and Cody Dickinson, two-thirds of the Grammy-nominated North Mississippi Allstars recently had a bypass surgery and was still recovering at the Methodist University Hospital.
During his lifetime, Jim recorded with and produced Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, Big Star, the Rolling Stones, The Replacements, Mudhoney and Sam & Dave.
