A grandchild is on the way for French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife, Carla Bruni.

Sarkozy’s son Jean and his wife Jessica Sebaoun are expecting their first child, due at the end of the year.

Jean is Sarkozy’s son with his first wife Marie-Dominique Culioli.
