According to Michael Jackson’s will filed Wednesday with the Los Angeles Superior Court, the singer provisioned for his mother Katherine to have care of his children and if she had died before him or became incapacitated, Diana Ross was to become their legal guardian.
In the five page document signed and dated on July 7, 2002, named his longtime lawyer John Branca, music executive John McClain and friend Barry Siegel as executors of the will.
It also stated Michael left all of his assets in The Michael Jackson Family Trust and the will excluded his ex wife Deborah Jean Rowe Jackson from touching any of the assets.
